Belinda is a Registered Psychologist with extensive experience working with preschoolers, school-aged children, adolescents, and their parents/careers and as well as providing a range of group programs to children and youth. She brings valuable knowledge to our practice.
Belinda is trained in a range of evidence-based intervention approaches, utilising techniques from CBT, ACT, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, to work collaboratively with clients to overcome challenges and meet their therapeutic needs and goals. She is committed to empowering children and adolescents to build self-efficacy, improve confidence, embed resilience, and develop life-long skills to support their psychological wellbeing.
Belinda has a particular interest and expertise in the administration of psychological assessments that support the diagnosis of several neurodevelopmental and mental health presentations. Through developing and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance, she aims to better understand an individual’s unique strengths and any identified difficulties when incorporating psychometric assessment results with other sources of information and providing recommendations for evidence-based support to enable clients to reach their full potential.
